AshaKiran offers culturally specific services and referrals for persons dealing with domestic violence, social isolation, abandonment, family crisis or other types of crisis. Offers an emergency shelter and transitional home. “AshaLine” Hopeline is a dedicated 24 hour crisis phone line providing confidentiality and served by trained volunteers to provide support and culturally specific services and referrals.

County Coordinators provide assistance to victims of family violence in each of the four North Alabama counties served by CSNA. Safeplace provides services to six mostly rural counties Lauderdale,Colbert,Lawrence,Franklin,Marion, Winston. Offering a 24-hr help line, case management, safety planning, children’s services, court advocacy, emergency shelter, supportive and transitional housing. Safeplace is able to provide assistance to Spanish speaking victims of abuse. Hispanic liaisons provide case management, court advocacy and personal advocacy. All informational materials have been translated into Spanish. Safeplace also has a pool of Spanish speaking volunteers to help families in need.
