AshaKiran provides confidential, culturally sensitive crisis services to foreign born individuals experiencing crisis. AshaKiran offers culturally specific services and referrals for persons dealing with domestic violence, social isolation, abandonment, family crisis or other types of crisis. Offers an emergency shelter and transitional home. “AshaLine” Hopeline is a dedicated 24 hour crisis phone line providing confidentiality and served by trained volunteers to provide support and culturally specific services and referrals.

Crisis Services of North Alabama (CSNA) provides trauma-informed, comprehensive services to victims, including: Court advocacy, counseling for adult and child victims, case management, information and referrals, and educational instruction regarding health and safety issues, legal rights and employment interviewing. County Coordinators provide assistance to victims of family violence in each of the four North Alabama counties served by CSNA. County Coordinators can be reached at the individual county offices Mon - Fri 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Safeplace - Marion
Safeplace provides services to six mostly rural counties Lauderdale,Colbert,Lawrence,Franklin,Marion, Winston. Offering a 24-hr help line, case management, safety planning, children’s services, court advocacy, emergency shelter, supportive and transitional housing. Safeplace is able to provide assistance to Spanish speaking victims of abuse. Hispanic liaisons provide case management, court advocacy and personal advocacy. All informational materials have been translated into Spanish. Safeplace also has a pool of Spanish speaking volunteers to help families in need.

Domestic Violence Crisis Services (DVCS)
Domestic Violence Crisis Services (DVCS) provides direct services to victims of domestic violence that include victim advocacy, case management, counseling, shelter and referrals to area resources. Offering a coordinated response to domestic violence with law enforcement and the court system. To meet with a victim advocate, please call (256) 891-9864 to schedule an appointment. Penelope House, Inc. provides safety, protection, and support to the victims of domestic violence and their children through the provision of emergency shelter, advocacy, individual and community education.

Monroe
The Lighthouse - University of South Alabama (Monroe)
The Lighthouse is a non profit agency serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Providing court advocacy, counseling for adults, advocacy services for adults and children. All services provided at no cost to the victims. For victims of sexual assault services are available in Baldwin and Escambia counties. Services for victims of domestic violence are available in Baldwin, Escambia, Conecuh, and Monroe counties.
Montgomery
Family Sunshine Center
Family Sunshine Center offers a 24-hr help line (accepts collect calls), counseling and referrals. Walk-in counseling services are provided 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday at 858 South Court Street, Montgomery, Alabama. Serving Autauga, Butler, Chilton, Crenshaw, Elmore, Lowndes and Montgomery counties.
One Place Family Justice Center
One Place Family Justice Center provides free local advocacy for domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual violence, child abuse, elder abuse and human trafficking labor and sex by assisting with safety planning, risk assessments, and civil legal advocacy. Serving Autauga, Butler, Chilton, Crenshaw, Elmore, Montgomery and Lowndes Counties.
